The aim of the BAGA is to offer uniform training for beauticians and other professional groups in the field of aesthetics and health at the highest level. It is particularly important to them that the students learn solid basic medical and scientific knowledge so that they are able to recognize contraindications and possible pathological changes in the skin before treatment.

On October 19, 2018, the Federal Council passed the "Ordinance on the further modernization of radiation protection law". Article 4 (NiSV – Ordinance on the protection against harmful effects of non-ionizing radiation when used on humans) in this work, which has more than 500 pages, contains for the first time legal provisions for the protection of people against the harmful effects of non-ionizing radiation if they are used for cosmetic or other non-medical purposes is applied.
The NiSV regulates applications in which high-frequency devices, ultrasound and magnetic resonance methods are used, as well as electrical nerve and muscle stimulation, magnetic field stimulation and the stimulation of the central nervous system. Applications with high-performance lasers and intensive, high-energy light sources also fall within the control loop of the NiSV. These are often used for cosmetic purposes, for example to remove tattoos, hair and pigment disorders or to treat vascular changes.
The delegation of NiSV applications that are subject to doctor approval is regulated as follows:
In its statement on the NiSV, the German Medical Association expressly stated that the physician may in principle also delegate the services to be provided by him in the area of ??laser applications and other optical radiation to non-physician employees. In contrast, the German Medical Association has made it clear that high-frequency applications that are reserved for a doctor may not be delegated, ie they must only be carried out by the doctor himself. Likewise, ultrasound applications that are subject to doctor approval may not be delegated.
Which doctors are we looking for exactly?
The legislature actually explicitly stipulates this in the NiSV. Depending on the specialist module, different medical qualifications are required:
"For the field of ultrasound, the devices used - typically devices that correspond to therapeutic devices - and special handling features (e.g. section "Application planning and implementation" - avoidance of excessive temperatures due to constant movement of the transducer) follow from the devices used, which are also suitable for therapeutic use of ultrasound are typical, that physicians with the qualification for the therapeutic use of ultrasound would in any case be suitable as supervisors.
Bei Ärztinnen und Ärzten mit der Qualifikation lediglich für bildgebenden Ultraschall können sich insbesondere im Bereich der Risikovermeidung bei der Handhabung kontraintuitive Situationen ergeben. Hier wäre eine gezielte, die Besonderheiten beim therapeutischen Ultraschall berücksichtigende Einweisung erforderlich und angesichts der Risikolage für die nicht unter Arztvorbehalt stehenden Anwendungen wohl auch ausreichend.
Für den Bereich der Elektro-Muskel-Stimulation gilt zunächst wegen Anlage 3 Teil E Nummer 11 NiSV, dass die selbständige Durchführung unterschiedlicher Anwendungen unter fachärztlicher Aufsicht stattfindet. In Betracht kommen für diesen Bereich insbesondere die Facharztkompetenzen Neurologie, Physikalische und Rehabilitative Medizin im Hinblick auf Nervenstimulation und Sportmediziner im Hinblick auf Muskelstimulation.
Für den Bereich der Anwendung von Hochfrequenzgeräten wie auch für den Bereich der Anwendung von Lasereinrichtungen und intensiven Lichtquellen gilt ebenfalls fachärztliche Aufsicht (vgl. Anlage 3 Teil C Nummer 13 und Teil D Nummer 12 NiSV). In Betracht kommen hier die Facharztkompetenzen Haut- und Geschlechtskrankheiten und Plastische, Rekonstruktive und Ästhetische Chirurgie.“
Neben einer attraktiven Vergütung bietet die BAGA den Ärzten/Ärztinnen eine sehr flexible Termingestaltung, moderne Lehrmaterialien und -unterlagen sowie engagierte SchülerInnen. Die Ärzte werden somit zur Aufsicht (nicht zum Dozieren) für die Teile der NiSV benötigt, bei denen die SchülerInnen die Geräte verwenden.
Zusammenfassend suchen wir Ärzte und Fachärzte/Fachärztinnen für folgende Module:
Modul "Optische Strahlung":
Fachärzte für Dermatologie und/oder FA für Plastische, Ästehetische und Rekonstruktive Chrirurgie
Modul "EFM in der Kosmetik":
Fachärzte für Dermatologie und/oder FA für Plastische, Ästehetische und Rekonstruktive Chrirurgie
Modul "EFM zur Hautstimulation"
Fachärzte für Neurologie und/oder FA für Physikalische und Rehabilitative Medizin und/oder Sportmediziner
Modul "Ultraschall"
Approbierte Ärzte ohne Facharztbezeichnung mit mindestens einem Jahr Ultraschall Erfahrung
Das Honorar erfolgt auf Stundenbasis ab 200,- Euro pro Stunde. Neben dieser attraktiven Vergütung bietet die BAGA den Ärzten/Ärztinnen eine sehr flexible Termingestaltung, moderne Lehrmaterialien und -unterlagen sowie engagierte Schüler/innen.
